Spring Camp – June 17, 2017 10:00-12:00 Atom and PeeWee
There will be an opportunity for registration in person at this camp, but we would appreciate advance notice of attendance to help with our planning. Please send a message to the Atom Team Manager through our Contact Us page.
This camp will be held at Chinook Learning Services 2519 Richmond Rd SW. The field is on the south side of the building, along 25th Street SW. There is a cost of $30 to attend this camp to cover player insurance with Football Alberta. Note - Spring Camp is included with the team registration fee if you choose to register prior to attending the camp.
This camp is non-contact, and will be run in conjunction with the PeeWee programs. There will be coach introductions and instruction to familiarize players with our routines and expectations during regular practices. Players will then rotate through stations to receive instruction on basic football drills and skills and athletic evaluations to help coaches determine the player positions.
Players need to have water, good footwear (cleats are preferred), and dress for the weather conditions as the camp will proceed rain or shine in most cases.

Stampeders Alumni Camp – June 25, 2017 McMahon Stadium 9:30-11:00am
This is a non-contact camp where players will get coaching and instruction on football specific drills from former CFL players. Falcons coaches will also be on the field assisting with the drills.
Players need to have water, good footwear (cleats are preferred), and dress for the weather conditions as the camp will proceed rain or shine.
This camp has a cost of $10 which goes as a donation to the Alberta Children’s Hospital. Each player in attendance will receive a practice jersey which they can keep and take home with them.

Practice – August
All practices will be held at Chinook Learning Services 2519 Richmond Rd SW. The field is on the south side of the building, along 25th Street SW.
Practices begin August 15, 2017. August practices will be THREE nights per week Tuesday-Thursday 6:30-8:00 PM.
Parent Coach Meetings
A parent meeting will be held at each spring camp and during the first week of practice in August to outline expectations and answer questions.
Primary Equipment – Saturday August 26, 2017
The Falcons provide helmets, shoulder pads, girdle, socks, mouth guards, practice and game uniforms.
Cleats, gloves and other accessories are the responsibility of each player.
An Equipment Deposit cheque, post-dated to November 30, 2017 in the amount of $300.00 is required before uniforms and equipment can be issued. Cheques will be returned un-cashed when equipment and uniforms are returned cleaned and in good order.
JERSEY NIGHT – September 7, 2017
Regular Season – September through October
In September and October practices are TWO nights per week Tuesday and Thursday 6:30-8:00 PM.
Games are held at Shouldice Athletic Park 1515 Home Road NW.
Regular season games will be on Sunday’s September 10, 17, 24, October 1, 7, 15, 22, 29.
The Atom Falcons will also play one Monday Night game at McMahon Stadium which includes a tour of the Calgary Stampeders locker room. Date to be determined and announced.
Detailed game schedule including times and opponents is expected to be available at the end of August.
Registration fees do not cover all of our program’s expenses. Football is one of the only sport programs that provides all equipment for our players (except cleats, gloves and other specialized equipment). To ensure player safety, we regularly replenish our inventory with new equipment at significant expense. In order to ensure participation and motivation for each player, we ask for 1 Fundraising Deposit cheque. Each $100 deposit will be returned, un-cashed at the conclusion of the fundraiser provided the player has met the prescribed sales quota.
